A fish passage has been constructed at the Blokhoven pumping station in Schalkwijk to enable fish to safely pass upstream of the weir.
Bosman Watermanagement has installed a fish-friendly Vision 15MV pump in this fish passage.
The Vision MV has been specially developed for the fish-friendly pumping of surface water. Thanks to its large passage, fish-friendly screw centrifugal impeller, low-maintenance design, and high resistance to debris, this type of pump is ideally suited for nature reserves, polders, and waterways where fish migration is important.
