At Bosman Watermanagement, we have invested decades of expertise into developing the BVOP pump, which is designed for situations where reliable water management is absolutely essential. The BVOP is designed to perform in environments that require constant, high-capacity water displacement, whether it involves draining polders, regulating water levels in low-lying areas, or supplying additional water to canals and lock systems during dry periods.
The BVOP pump is specifically designed for:
With seven standard modules and a capacity range of 12 to 300 m³/min, the BVOP is a high-tech axial propeller pump that delivers outstanding performance with remarkably low noise levels.
The pump features a preformed suction box, custom‑engineered impeller blades, and a spiral‑shaped guide vane housed within a large concrete volute. This hydraulic design ensures smooth water flow, minimal energy losses, and high overall efficiency. The pump also operates with only a shallow submergence depth.
Each pump size offers three impeller configurations, preventing harmful cavitation and reducing vibrations. To determine the optimal setup for any application, our Computer Aided Selection (CAS) system calculates whether the required flow and head can be achieved. CAS also evaluates factors such as efficiency and NPSH, and generates a full capacity/head curve including a guaranteed pump curve.
