In recent months, Bosman Watermanagement B.V. has been commissioned by various contractors and water authorities to adapt and expand aeration systems at several wastewater treatment plants.
The scope of these projects was highly diverse, ranging from short-term one-on-one replacements of plate aerators to full involvement from the initial design phase through to realization.
Our team worked closely with all stakeholders to deliver high-performance results. Key achievements include:
- Full Design & Realization: Responsible for the design, delivery, installation, and testing of a new blower system, air header system, and plate aerator installation.
- Efficiency Gains: The result is a quieter, more maintenance-friendly system that is 34% more energy-efficient.
- Capacity Expansion: By replacing old point aerators with new plate aerator technology and revising existing units, we successfully doubled the treatment capacity.
- Sustainable Replacement: Replacing existing tube aerators and stainless steel piping with a total of 880 plate aerators. This led to higher oxygen transfer capacity, improved operational reliability, and approximately 25% energy savings.

These projects demonstrate our commitment to helping water authorities reach their sustainability goals through technical innovation and collaborative engineering.
