Renovation Westerkogge pumping Station

Upon request of Hoogheemraadschap hollands Noorderkwartier, we started the renovation of the Westerkogge pumping station in North Holland.

The Westerkogge pumping station was built in 1982 and was then fitted with one pump that had a diesel drive motor. That motor has since been removed.

During the renovation, all pumps were revised and provided with a new, directly coupled electrical drive. Moreover, the pumps were rebuilt from a grease-lubricated to a more environmentally friendly, water-lubricated version.

The electrical system was replaced by Vlaar techniek from Medemblik. Moreover, asbestos removal and other improvements were carried out.

The project was completed in 2019.
