Renovation PS Cromstrijen
In 2020, Bosman Watermanagement completed the renovation of the PS Cromstrijen.
During the renovation, the diesel engine was replaced with a modern and energy-efficient permanent magnet motor.
The existing pump was overhauled and converted from a grease-lubricated to a water-lubricated version. The capacity of the pump was also increased so that the pumping station can quickly drain the water for a larger area.
Several aspects of the building have been renovated so that it is ready for the future. The roof has been renewed and new roof hatches have been placed above the pumps.
The facade has been replaced on both sides of the pumping station with an aluminum version with double glazing.
To ensure sufficient water drainage during the renovation, Bosman Watermanagement used a temporary Moby type pumping station.
