Pumping stations Leursche Haven and Laaksche Vaart
On 21 April 2020, the Leursche Haven and Laaksche Vaart pumping stations were handed over.
Together with an adjacent flood defence sluice the two pumping stations will protect the surrounding area against flooding in the event of a spill.
The pumping stations are part of the Waterschap Brabantse Delta regional defenses project, for which Boskalis Nederland is the main contractor.
Bosman Watermanagement BV installed three Vision fish-friendly pumps with a capacity of 220 m3/minute in the Laaksche Vaart pumping station and one Vision pump with a capacity of 231 m3/minute in the Leursche Haven pumping station.
The pumps are driven by efficient permanent magnet motors from DAC Electric.
Besides the pumps, Bosman Watermanagement BV also designed and supplied the complete mechanical installation.
The electrical installation was designed and supplied as a subcontractor by our partner Vlaar Techniek from Medemblik.
We look back on a pleasant collaboration with Waterschap Brabantse Delta, Boskalis Nederland, Sweco and Vlaar Techniek.
